My favourite similarity between Lexa and Lincoln is that they both NEVER questioned the strength of their girlfriends and trusted that they can fight their battles without their help.

They both knew they aren’t damsels in distress.

My favourite is the fact that they correct the people who purposely or accidentally say or imply that they’re not self-sufficient and then making absolutely sure that they got their point across that ‘Yes. That’s my girlfriend. And Yes she’s strong’

“She was already strong” - Lincoln correcting Bellamy about Octavia on how makes her stronger.

“Clarke elevates herself” - Lexa correcting Titus about Clarke on how Lexa is responsible for elevating Clarke.

This is the kind of respect and love that shows need to air.
